Islamabad : Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf is likely to lift emergency within the next 48 hours, local TV channel Dawn News reported Wednesday.
In a “change of command” ceremony held in the garrison city of Rawalpindi, Musharraf quit as army chief and handed over command to Vice Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani.
