Shimla : The picturesque hill station of Shimla received light rain and higher ranges experienced snowfall early Friday.
The weather suddenly changed with cold winds bringing clouds as the temperature hovered around five degrees Celsius early morning.
Rain is unusual for this time of year in Shimla.
The higher reaches in tribal Kinnaur, Lahaul & Spiti and Bharmaur received a light spell of snowfall. Temperatures in the tribal belt are hovering far below freezing.
