Cairo : Permanent delegates at the Aab League have rejected a recent non-compelling resolution by the US Senate calling for the partitioning of Iraq.
The secretary-general, Amr Moussa, said after a meeting of the delegates Wednesday that the US decision was condemned by all the delegates, and questioned the wisdom of intervention by a legislative authority of a state in internal affairs of another country.
He added that none of the Arab states has received an invitation for particiption in the international peace for the Middle East, due next fall.
