Tehran : Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said if the United Sates and some other countries try to impose further sanctions on Iran, Tehran will probably reconsider its relations with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), reported a Japanese Television network on Thursday.
Speaking to Japanese national television network NHK on the sidelines of the UN general assembly, the Iranian official said the US which is engaged in Iraq and Afghanistan is not able to wage another war in the region.
The network quoted him as saying that the notion of military attack against his country is not a generally accepted option in the US government and only a certain circle in the administration is for it. NHK said the warning came as Mottaki referred to certain signs showing that the sanctions process is followed by the US and certain other countries.
