Srinagar : The dreaded militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba today paid tributes to its slain commanders Abu Wafa alias Musa and Abu Kasim, who died fighting during an encounter with security forces at Bandipora in north Kashmir.
An Let spokesman Dr Abdullah Gaznavi in a telephonic message to New Agency of Kashmir confirming the death of Divisional Commander Abu Wafa and deputy divisional commander Abu Kasim said that floral tributes were paid to both the commanders who attained martyrdom while fighting against the Indian forces in Bandipore area of Kashmir.
He said that LeT would carry on its mission of liberating Kashmir and loss of such devoted cadres of Tanzeem would have no demoralizing effect on the ongoing struggle in Kashmir.
It is pertinent to mention here that Lashkar has suffered heavy losses during past some days and nine of its militants were killed in an encounter in Tagmarg area neaqr world famous Ski resort of Gulmarg while two
army majors were also killed in the encounter.
