Anantnag : An angry mob set ablaze a police gypsy allotted to a Peoples Democratic Party leader at KP road after the vehicle hit a pedestrian here today.
Police sources informed News Agency of Kashmir that a speeding police gypsy bearing No. JK02 Q – 4128 allotted to PDP leaderAbdul Salam Reshi of Bijbehara, hit a pedestrian Manzoor Malik of Batakoot at KP road, injuring him seriosuly.
An angry mob gathered and set the vehicle ablaze and raised anti-PDP anti-government slogans. The injured was removed to the local hospital, where his condition is stated to be normal. Police have registered a case and investigations are on.
