Panipat : At least six people were killed Sunday morning and over a dozen injured when a devastating fire broke out in a textile mill in the industrial city of Panipat in Haryana.
Superintendent of Police M.S. Sheoran said over a dozen people were rescued from the burning building in Panipat, about 100 km from New Delhi, and shifted to the hospital for treatment of burn injuries.
The police added that some 10 people were still trapped in the mill. Initial reports said that over 100 workers were at the factory when the fire broke out.
