Ahmadinejad says reach to meet Bush if US changes behavior

TEHRAN, Oct 7 (KUNA) — Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Sunday the American administration “should change its behavior” so he could hold negotiations with his US counterpart George Bush.
Bush “has recently announced he was ready to enter into negotiations with Iran and placed a condition that Iran relinquishes its nuclear program … but we never wanted to negotiate with American,” Ahmadinejad said in a cabinet meeting, quoted by local media.
Negotiations can take place “if America dramatically changes its behavior and approaches,” said Ahmadinejad.
If negotiations are conditional, he said, “then we have the right to put our conditions because we are worried about the nuclear bombs and the people who threaten of war and have these weapons.” Talking about the Iranian nuclear file, Ahmadinejad said negotiations have returned to their normal course when the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) regain control of the negotiations with Tehran.
