Next round of talks between Iran, IAEA on Oct 9

TEHRAN, Oct 7 (KUNA) — The next round of talks between Iran and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on the country’s nuclear question will be held in the Iranian capital on October 9, the foreign ministry spokesman said on Sunday.
Talking to reporters, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said a delegation from the international agency would arrive in Tehran for the scheduled talks.
He added that issues related to P1 and P2 centrifuges would be among topics to be discussed by the two sides. On recent remarks by the EU foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, on suspension of Iran’s enrichment and his request for meeting Iran’s chief negotiator, Ali Larijani, he said the meeting would be held but no definite time was set. “Enrichment suspension is an old issue. We have repeatedly requested that new topics should be reviewed in the talks,” Hosseini noted.
