GAZA, Oct 8 (KUNA) — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to meet on Monday Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan in the city of Ramallah in the West Bank.
According to Palestinian radio, the officials are going to discuss the recent developments and the results in view of the recent and ongoing Palestinian-Israeli meetings.
Israel meanwhile announced that the Turkish minister will meet Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Jerusalem before he meets with the Palestinian leader.
Earlier on Sunday, Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni met her Turkish counterpart and went over the Iranian file as well as the preparations for the Middle East conference to be held in Washington in the fall.(
