Teheran, Oct 8 (Prensa Latina) Iran’s President Mahmud Ahmadineyad said on Monday that his country will only start negotiations with the US when its government makes a radical change in its performance and stance.
The Persian head of state’s remarks were made during a meeting with his cabinet after his US counterpart, George W. Bush, said to be ready to hold talks with the Islamic Republic if it relinquishes to its nuclear rights.
“We will hold talks with the US when it makes a radical change in its performance and position. We have never requested to negotiate with the US,” IRNA news agency quoted Ahmadineyad as emphasizing.
“If someone must put conditions it is Iran, because we are concerned about the bombs and warmongers who are seated beside them,” he said.
Ahmadineyad said that US behavior is not only a concern of the Iranian people, but all of the entire world.
