Bangalore : Infosys Technologies Ltd. has posted a net profit of Rs. 11 billion for the second quarter (July-September) of the current fiscal (2007-08), registering a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 18 percent under the Indian GAAP.
In a notification to the stock exchanges here Thursday, the IT bellwether said its consolidated revenue for the quarter (Q2) under review was Rs. 41 billion, posting YoY growth of 19 percent.
Under the US GAAP, the net income has shot up to $271 million from $199 million in the same quarter a year ago, registering 36 percent YoY growth.
Similarly, consolidated revenue has jumped to $1.02 billion from $746 million in the same quarter last year, up by 37 percent YoY.
