Mumbai : A newly appointed servant allegedly decamped with eight kg of gold ornaments Thursday from a jewellery shop in Dahisar East, a suburb at the northernmost tip of Mumbai.
The suspect Kisan Nemsingh reportedly came to Vandana Jewellers with an accomplice at 7 a.m. When a fruit vendor sitting outside the shop challenged them, they claimed to have arrived early so that they could clean the shop, senior police inspector Ravi Thankur told IANS.
