Ranchi : Four men have been lynched in two separate incidents in Jharkhand, police said Saturday.
Residents of Ormanjhi block, about 30 km from here, lynched three men found in a nearby jungle Friday.
The police alleged the three men were planning a robbery and claimed to have found two weapons and gold and silver jewellery on them.
A case of murder has been registered against unknown people but no one has been arrested.
In another incident, villagers in Pithoria block, about 45 km from here, beat a man to death Friday.
Once again, the police alleged the man was a criminal.
