Iraqi President to UK ambassador: no gun-toting groups welcomed in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Oct 24 (KUNA) — Iraqi President Jalal Talabani reaffirmed Wednesday Iraq’s stance against armed groups using Iraqi soil to spread terror and chaos in neighboring countries.
The affirmation came during Talabani’s reception of British ambassador to Iraqi Christopher Prentice. Talabani and Prentice discussed during their meeting the current Iraqi-Turkish dispute stressing that Iraqis would not allow any group to threaten Iraq’s neighbors.
