“Rahman was arrested after the Rajasthan police team sought the help of the state police. He is being interrogated,” a police official said.

Three people were killed and 17 injured in the bomb blast during Ramadan prayers Oct 11 near the Ajmer dargah in Rajasthan, one of the biggest pilgrimage spots in South Asia.

According to sources, Rahman was named by a terrorist arrested in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rahman was reportedly staying in Ajmer and teaching in a school, but left Ajmer and shifted to Godda district of Jharkhand just before the blast.

A central intelligence team was in Jamtara district of Jharkhand Oct 16 to interrogate a mobile phone dealer in connection with the Ajmer blast.
