New Delhi : Petroleum Minister Murli Deora has appealed to Maharashtra’s petroleum product dealers to refrain from their threatened protest closure of retail outlets from Monday.
He has emphasized that such strike will cause avoidable difficulties to the people, an official release said Sunday.
The minister further said that the dealers’ demand for testing kits was not justified as the new system of marking kerosene has been introduced to prevent adulteration of petroleum products.
