New Delhi: Human resource consultant and husband of former Rajya Sabha chairman Najma Heptulla passed away on Tuesday.
Mr. Heptulla who was 75 years old was rushed to the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences here on stomach ache, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The President of India, Mrs. Pratibha Patil in her message said that she is saddened to learn about the passing away of Mr. Heptulla. She conveyed her condolences to Dr. Heptulla and the other members of the family.
Mr. Heptulla married Najma in 1966; they have three daughters. The burial will take place on Friday.
