Dubai : Well known Malayalam newspaper Chandrika will launch its Bahrain edition next week.
The latest edition of the Kozhikode-based newspaper run by the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), Kerala, will be launched Sunday to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre (KMCC).
Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa will be the chief guest, said KMCC president C.K. Abdulrahman.
A delegation from India led by IUML president P.S.M.S. Thangal will be present during the launch. Other members in the delegation will include Minister of State for External Affairs and IUML national general secretary E. Ahamed, IUML Kerala secretary-general and former minister P.K. Kunhalikutty, secretary and former minister M.K. Muneer and P.V. Abdulwahab, Gulf Daily News reported.
