Baghdad : At least 15 Iraqis were killed when a car bomb ripped through the Shiite enclave known as Sadr City in eastern Baghdad.
Around 45 people were reportedly wounded, police sources told the local Voices of Iraq news agency.
The attack happened Saturday near a police station and a crowded outdoor market.
No further details were disclosed.
Sadr City is the stronghold of the followers of feared Shiite leader Moqtada al-Sadr.
