Algeria : A car bomb went off in eastern Algeria Saturday morning, killing 10 people, Al Jazeera English TV channel reported.
The report said the bomb attack hit Dellys town, 100 km east of capital Algiers, the second bombing in the country in three days.
On Thursday, a suicide bomb attack in eastern Algeria killed about 19 people and wounded 107 others.
The earlier attack took place in the town of Batna, some 450 km east of Algiers, apparently targeting President Abdelaziz Bouteflika who had planned to visit the region.
Although the security situation in Algeria has greatly improved in recent years, sporadic attacks continue to be reported in isolated parts of the north African country.
