Gaza : A Palestinian teenage was shot dead on Saturday by Israeli troops in eastern Gaza City near the borders with Israel, witnesses and hospital officials said.
Ramzi Rajab Helles, 15-year-old, approached the border near the closed Karni commercial crossing and then several gunshots were heard, according to the witnesses.
Meanwhile, Mo’aweya Hassanein, chief of the emergency and ambulances service in the Gaza Strip, confirmed the accident, saying the victim was a teenage, who arrived dead at the hospital.
Earlier, Israeli Radio quoted Israeli army as saying that Palestinian militants had fired 10 homemade mortar shells that landed at areas near the borders between Gaza and Israel.
