Abu Dhabi : President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued an order for the release of 808 prisoners of UAE and other nationalities, who have served various parts of their imprisonment terms in punitive and corrective establishments in the country.
The president has also pledged AED 3.429 million to settle the prisoners’ debts. The gesture is on the advent of Ramadan. (USD 1 = AED 3.67)
