Bhopal: “Hindi Divas is a festival of commitment and dedication towards Rajbhasha Hindi, said RK Singh, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal in his address as chief guest on the occasion of Hindi Divas at BHEL Cultural Hall.
Singh said that BHEL Plant is committed towards compliance of statutory requirements like its production target. Highlighting the importance of Hindi as a language of business in the market today, he emphasized on increase in the use of Hindi. CK Pani, General Manager (IT & PDX) chaired the function.
JP Pathak, Addl. General Manager (HR) in his welcome address said that all out efforts are made to do official work in Rajbhasha Hindi in the organization. He appreciated the high volume of works being done in Hindi in technical areas in the plant.
Earlier, Singh also inaugurated Hindi website of BHEL, Bhopal. Harish Bagwar, Sr. Rajbhasha Officer made a presentation on the salient features of the Unicode based website and said that the site is full of information for all employees. Besides, information on Official Language Policy, Incentive Schemes and Hindi equivalents for administrative Glossary is also available in the net.
General Managers, Senior executives, Union Representatives , Media representatives and a large number of employees were present on this occasion. The programme began with poem by Laxmi Mall Singhvi . Arun Yadav, Dy,. Manager (TXS) choreographed the poem in such a beautiful manner which made the audience spellbound. About 107 winners of various competitions were felicitated by ED .
