New Delhi : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh underwent prostrate surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here Saturday morning and has been advised rest for two days.
The prime minister underwent surgery to treat benign enlargement of the prostrate. A team of doctors, led by N.P. Gupta, head of the department of urology at AIIMS, conducted the operation.
Manmohan Singh has been advised two days of post-operative rest at the hospital. He will return home on Monday, an official statement said.
