Mumbai : Mohammed Kaif will continue to lead India ‘A’ in the home One-day International series against South Africa ‘A’ starting in Ahmedabad Sep 26.
Niranjan Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), also announced a 15-member team for the three-match series. The matches will be played in Ahmedabad (Sep 26), Baroda (Sep 28), and Rajkot (Sep 30).
India ‘A’ defeated South Africa ‘A’ by an innings and 242 runs in the first four-day match in Delhi. The second and final four-day match will be played in Dharamshala from Wednesday.
India ‘A’: Mohammad Kaif (captain), Parthiv Patel (vice-captain/wicket-keeper), Cheteshwer Pujara, Karan Goel, Manoj Tiwary, Suresh Raina, S. Badrinath, Praveen Kumar, Praghyan Ojha, Ishant Sharma, Yo Mahesh, Pankaj Singh, Arjun Yadav, Abhishek Nair and Anirudh Srikanth.
