Shimla, Sep 24 (IANS) A man grazing sheep in a remote Himachal Pradesh valley was attacked and killed by a bear, police said Monday.
Villagers found the body of Khayali Ram Sunday in Chamba valley’s Choharghatti, some 450 km from here, and reported the matter to the police.
An autopsy confirmed death due a bear attack. The bear has attacked several people in the region during the past few months. Villagers have appealed to the state government to capture the animal.
