Dubai, Sep 27 (IANS) Bahrain’s labour ministry Wednesday launched a new interactive and user-friendly job portal that promises to be a boon for job seekers in the country, Gulf Daily News reported.
Bahrain’s Labour Minister Majeed Al Alawi, who launched the website www.mol.gov.bh, said it would also guide employers on how to choose their employees.
The portal has been designed by Bahrain-based firm ‘Ideas’ with the support of Microsoft, said the report.
“The new training law and labour reforms process have placed greater responsibility on the Labour Ministry,” said Al Alawi.
“Employers can list the vacancies available and access people with the required skill set. The site also provides facilities like hotlines, telephone directory, career guidance and photo centre,” he added.
Institutions will also get guidance, through the website, on training requirements in the kingdom.
