The US, led by Andy Roddick, James Blake and Bob and Mike Bryan, advanced to the Davis Cup final with a 4-1 victory over Sweden last weekend in Goteborg.

Russia beat Germany 3-2 in Moscow in the other semi-final.

This will be the first Davis Cup final held in the US since 1992, when the “Dream Team” of Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Jim Courier and John McEnroe defeated Switzerland in Fort Worth, Texas.

Russia are the defending Davis Cup champions and have won the title twice in the past five years.

The US are 2-1 all-time against Russia in Davis Cup play, including a victory in Moscow in the 1995 final, the last time the Americans won the title.
