Sana’a : Minister of Religious Endowment and Islamic Affairs Hamud al-Hitar held talks on Saturday with his Jordanian counterpart Abdul-Fatah Salah over mutual cooperation between the two countries in field of guidance.
They discussed aspects of the cooperation in fields of technical and planning programs, documents and manuscripts restoration and training Imams of mosques and preachers in addition to availing from the Jordanian endowment legislations.
Means of activating mutual cooperation agreement signed between the two countries in this field were discussed as well.
The agreement stipulates enhancing cooperation between the two countries in fields of endowments and guidance by exchanging publications and experiences as well as cooperation in maintenance of Islamic historical manuscripts and books in addition to coordinating the two countries’ stances in the Islamic events.
Al-Hitar noted to the willingness of the ministry to benefit from the Jordanian experience in fields of planning, regulation and media guidance programs.
For his part, the Jordanian minister voiced readiness of his ministry to cooperate in training religious guides and preachers and offer experience in means of utilizing funds of the endowments.
He expressed thanks for the warm hospitality, pinning his hopes to make the Yemeni-Jordanian guidance and endowments relations as an example for the good cooperation between Arab and Islamic countries.
