Unitech launches two residential towers

New Delhi : Unitech Ltd, one of India’s real estate giants, announced the launch of Aqua and Terra – two of the tallest towers of its grand residential project – at a Derby event at the Delhi Race Club here Sunday.

The two towers will be a part of the Unitech Grande, which will come up close to the Noida Expressway and would be spread over 347 acres. The company claims that the two towers would be highest residential buildings in the National Capital Region (NCR).

“Terra and Aqua cater to a fast emerging urbane India. They symbolise panache, opulence and grandeur beyond imagination,” Sanjay Chandra, managing director of Unitech Ltd, said in a press statement.

According to company officials, the size of the apartments in Terra will range from 4,723 square feet to 11,067 square feet, with the choice of simplex, duplex and triplex apartments. In Aqua, the apartments will range from 4,800 square feet to 11,125 square feet.

The Derby event – Unitech Shining Stakes – was hosted by Bollywood’s comedy man Sajid Khan and saw a rendezvous of the city’s high-profile people, the fashion aficionados and racing enthusiasts. The event was one of the biggest Derby shows in Delhi with the highest stake of Rs.2.5 million.

The event culminated with a fashion show by designer Preeti Chandra, who showcased her spring-summer collection 2008 titled “Mood Board”. Models sashayed across the ramp clad in sleek and chic shift dresses in Indian textiles tastefully cut to western silhouettes.
