Islamabad : Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman General Tariq Majid returned home last night from a six-day visit to Jordan, said an official statement.
Director General Operations and Plans Maj Gen Bilal Omer and other senior officers received Majid at Islamabad Airport.
Majid held wide-ranging discussions with his Jordanian counterpart General Khalid J Al-Sarayreh and highlighted the need for strengthening military cooperation between both the countries.
He also visited Northern Command Headquarters where Commander Northern Command Brigadier General Mishal Al Zeban briefed him about the area of responsibility.
