Mashhad : Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad held wide ranging talks with the visiting Senegalese counterpart Abdoulaye Wade here today. They exchanged cordial talks and discussed issues of mutual concern. Wade arrived in Iran’s Mashhad city last night. President Ahmadinejad is in this northeastern city as part of the second round of his provincial tour to Iranian cities, IRNA reported.
The two heads of state discussed ways to further strengthen Tehran-Dakar relations and cooperation. President Wade was accompanied by a high ranking delegation of Senegalese officials. Upon arrival, he was received by Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.
