Mumbai : The Indian equity market ended Wednesday in green with leading indices registering marginal gains.
The 30-share Sensitive Index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) opened at 16,288.76 points and touched a high of 16,413.80 before closing at 16,244.19 points. It went up by 90.53 points at the day’s close or 0.56 percent.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) S&P Nifty, which opened at 4,881.65 points, closed at 4,887.30 points, gaining 7.65 points or 0.16 percent.
