Amman : Jordanian Prime Minister Nader Dahabi has said that Jordan was keen to develop cooperation with all Arab countries in the transport field.
He highlighted the important role played by the transport sector, as it is the main pillar for cooperation in the economic and trade fields and in the movement of goods and passengers among countries.
The prime minister made the remarks during a meeting with Saudi Transport Minister Jibara Al Sraisiri and Syrian Transport Minister Yaroub Badr who are taking part in meetings of the Hijaz Railway Higher Commission, which started in Amman Wednesday.
During the meeting, which was also attended by Jordan’s Minister of Transport Ala’a Batayneh, the premier stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination with Saudi Arabia and Syria to ensure better use of the Hijaz railway which passes through the three countries.
