Noida : Three criminals were killed in a shootout with police on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway Wednesday night, police said.
The incident took place at 10.30 p.m. near Hazipur village when police of Sector 39 asked the men travelling in a Maruti car to stop for checking. They instead opened fire at the police team, which retaliated, resulting in their deaths, said Anil Samania, station officer of Sector-39 police station.
One of the criminals has been identified as Sanjay Garg, he added.
