Baghdad : The Multi-National Force (MNF) has affirmed that four gunmen were killed in Basra, southern Iraq, by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
A statement by the MNF Wednesday said that the UAV spotted earlier in the morning five gunmen attacking an Iraqi army patrol unit with R.P.G rounds in the area of Hayyana in Basra city.
The UAV engaged with the gunmen, killing four and wounding one, said the MNF, adding that it also destroyed the gunmen’s vehicles.
