One ISAF soldier killed, three injured in separate incidents

Kabul : One soldier of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) was killed and three more wounded in two separate incidents in southern Afghanistan. A statement from ISAF headquarters released on Tuesday said names and nationalities of the soldiers would not be made public “unless the relevant authority does so.” The brief statement neither mentioned the exact location and nature of the incidents, nor the exact date of their happening.

“We offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the soldier who died today, and those who were wounded, while working to bring peace and stability to Afghanistan,” said Lieutenant Colonel Sarto LeBlanc, spokesperson for the Regional Command South.
