New Delhi : Karan Rastogi went down fighting against Toshihide Matsui of Japan in the quarterfinals of the $15,000 International Tennis Federation (ITF) Futures tournament in Taizhou, China.
Rastogi squandered a set’s lead to go down 6-4, 2-6, 4-6 against the unseeded Japanese Friday.
The pair of Rastogi and Ashutosh Singh, who recently won the doubles event in Beijing, had already exited in the first round, losing against the Chinese duo of Sa Chen and Chuan Jiang.
