All India Deeni Madaris Board condemns terrorism

New Delhi: All India Deeni Madaris Board, in its conference held in the capital on 28th April, expressed its concern over the attempts by media and authorities to associate madrasa students and graduates with terrorism.

Speakers said madrasas are centers of peace and tranquility and pupils raised here become flag-bearer of peace in the society but unfortunately they have of late been linked to terrorism by some forces. This phenomenon is harming not only Muslims but also the country, the said. They were speaking at the anti-terrorism conference organized by the board.

In his inaugural address, Mufti Arshad Farooqui, secretary, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, said the malicious campaign against Muslims and madrasas cannot be countered by mere verbal statements, rather we will have to do something concrete by taking along all madrasas and schools of thought.

In his presidential address, Maulana Yaqoob Bulandshahri condemned all sorts of terrorism as well as false accusations of terrorism against madrasa students.
