Jammu : A top militant of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and a police constable were killed Tuesday in a shootout in the Kishtwar region of Jammu and Kashmir, the police said.
Abu Hamza, the slain LeT district commander, was one of the most wanted terrorists in the area, said the police, alleging that he was responsible for several killings and IED explosions.
The police said in the gunfight in Buzai village, constable Kikkar Singh was also killed. Singh was known as a specialist sharpshooter of the police.
