Lucknow : Police arrested a woman saturday from Bulandshahr district in Uttar Pradesh on the charge of kidnapping three girls from Haryana.
“Kusum had abducted the three girls from Karnal district of Haryarna last week. Acting on a tip-off, we succeeded in arresting Kusum, who was looking for prospective buyers for the girls,” police officer Alok Singh told IANS.
The rescued girls, aged about 12, 11 and two years, are in being looked after by the police.
Kusum was arrested from the Toligaon locality in Bulandshahr district of western Uttar Pradesh.
