Baghdad : A roadside bomb killed two American soldiers and wounded another in the Iraqi capital on Monday, the US military said.
The morning attack occurred in the central Baghdad district of Karadah, an email from the US military said, adding that the injured soldier had been hospitalised.
A US army spokesman in Baghdad said no further details were immediately available.
The US military also announced on Monday that one US soldier was killed and two were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in rolled over at a base near the Iraqi capital on Saturday.
The latest deaths bring the number of US military dead since the 2003 invasion of Iraq to 4,130, according to an AFP count based on icasualties.org.
