Chennai : N.K.K.P. Raja, minister of textiles and handloom, was Thursday dropped from the Tamil Nadu cabinet following allegations that he kidnapped a family.
Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi recommended his removal and Governor Surjeet Singh Barnala accepted the recommendation.
Raja was accused of kidnapping a family to grab its land.
