Ferreira has been quoted saying: “Bal Thackeray and his party Shiv Sena and the BJP student wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) had given us funds regularly for Maoists activities in Mumbai,” says a news report in Rashtriya Sahara. This revelation came when Ferreira, a city resident, was asked about the funding of the activities of Maoists in the country’s financial capital.

Ferreira was arrested from Nagpur on May 8, 2007. Two narco tests have been conducted on him. His confession of the involvement of Hindutva organizations in Naxal activities was made in the second narco test conducted by the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) (Bangalore) in September 2007.
The narco report has been sent to the Maharashtra police for further investigation.

In the recent years SIMI and some terrorist organizations have been blamed for every terror attack in the country. But this revelation by Ferreira has made doubtful the activities of some Hindutva organizations.
