Tehran : The Trade Promotion Organisation of Iran (TPOI) and Afghanistan’s Export Promotion Agency have signed a memorandum of understanding on expanding trade cooperation.
The Iran-Afghanistan trade exchange deal was inked by TPOI head Mehdi Ghazanfari and Afghan EPA chief Suleiman Fatemi here Monday.
Based on the agreement, Iran and Afghanistan are to exchange information, conduct marketing activities and promote trade cooperation in addition to holding training programmes, Ghazanfari said.
During his visit to Iran, the head of the Afghan Export Promotion Agency held talks with a number of TPOI officials.
