Chennai : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders L. Ganesan and S. Thirunavukkarasar were among many party workers arrested Wednesday for blocking traffic at the main arterial road of the city here to protest the Jammu and Kashmir government’s order cancelling land allotment to the Amarnath Shrine board.
The protest was organised at Anna Road by the state unit of BJP and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. All the arrested party workers were released later, the police said.
