Tehran : Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi has said that Iran and Russia are seriously determined to complete and put into operation the Bushehr nuclear power plant.
Talking to reporters Monday, he said the Bushehr power plant has nothing to do with the current nuclear talks with the Group 5 1.
He said that negotiations between Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili and EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana continue in a positive and constructive atmosphere.
Qashqavi stressed that Iran has always been ready to give response to any possible question raised by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Iran’s cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog is based on regulations of the Safeguards Agreement, he noted.
