New Delhi : The Delhi government Monday promoted Deputy Director of Education (sports) Sat Pal to the post of additional director of education (sports) as a reward for coaching Olympic bronze medal winner Sushil Kumar in wrestling.
The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting Monday.
“The decision has been taken keeping in view his commendable contribution in coaching an Olympic medal winner. This would also inspire others to endeavour to achieve a similar feat and produce more medal winners for the nation,” a statement issued by the Delhi government said.
