New Delhi : Sania Mirza has slipped seven places to 70th position in the Women Tennis Association (WTA) singles rankings Monday .
Sania is suffering from chronic wrist injury and has pulled out of the ongoing US Open.
Meanwhile, in the men’s doubles rankings, Mahesh Bhupathi has remained steady at the 12th position and so has his Olympic doubles partner Leander Paes at the 16th spot.
In the men’s singles rankings, Prakash Amritraj has held his last week’s 217th rank while Somdev Devvarman, who has been climbing steadily in the rankings so far, has fallen four places to 243.
Rohan Bopanna, too, has fallen three places to 324th in his singles rankings this week. .
